Four Audit Streams That Fix
Your Entire Content Library.

01
Performance & Traffic Analysis

We pull data from Google Search Console and Analytics for every page — impressions, clicks, rankings, bounce rate, time on page, and conversions. Every page gets a traffic health score before we touch anything.

02
Intent & Quality Scoring

We score every page against the buyer intent it's supposed to serve — does it actually satisfy what the searcher wants? Outdated content, thin content, and intent mismatches are flagged with specific fixes.

03
Cannibalisation Detection

We identify every instance where two or more of your pages compete for the same keywords — splitting your authority and confusing Google about which page to rank. Cannibalisation is the most common hidden traffic killer in B2B content libraries.

04
Fix / Keep / Merge / Delete Plan

Every page gets a clear, prioritised action: Fix (optimise for better performance), Keep (already working), Merge (combine with a stronger page), or Delete (remove and redirect). A complete content roadmap with no ambiguity.

Why It Matters

Most B2B Websites Have
More Bad Content Than Good.

After years of publishing, the average B2B website has accumulated dozens — sometimes hundreds — of outdated, thin, or cannibalising pages that actively drag down the pages that should be ranking. A content audit doesn't just identify problems. It frees up authority so your best pages can finally rank where they deserve.

Removing or consolidating low-quality pages increases crawl budget allocation to your valuable content by 30–60%
HubSpot reported a 106% increase in organic traffic after auditing and removing 3,000 underperforming posts
Keyword cannibalisation is present in 73% of B2B websites with 50+ published pages — most teams don't know it exists
Content audits produce faster ranking gains than new content creation — you're fixing what Google already knows about

"We were creating 4 new posts a month and traffic was flat. The audit showed we had 180 pages dragging down the 20 pages that mattered. Fixed those and traffic jumped 185% in 5 months."

Our Audit Framework

Every Page Gets a Verdict.
No Page Is Skipped.

We don't sample your content or audit only your top-traffic pages. Every URL on your site — blog posts, service pages, landing pages, resource pages — gets evaluated against the same framework: traffic performance, intent match, competition level, and conversion readiness.

Fix — pages with the right keyword but poor content. These are your highest-ROI targets: Google already knows the page, you just need to make it better.
Keep — pages performing well. We document why so you can replicate the approach across new content.
Merge — pages cannibalising each other. We identify the winner, merge the content, and build a 301 redirect map.
Delete — pages with no traffic, no rankings, and no redemption path. Removing these frees crawl budget for pages that matter.

How It Works

5 Steps From Audit
to Ranking Improvement.

Get Started
1
Data Collection
We pull all URLs from your sitemap and connect to Google Search Console and Analytics to gather 12+ months of real performance data per page.
2
Page-by-Page Scoring
Every page is scored across 8 dimensions: traffic, rankings, intent match, content quality, word count, internal links, backlinks, and conversion signals.
3
Cannibalisation Mapping
We identify every keyword overlap — pages competing with each other for the same queries — and assign a winner/loser for each cannibalisation pair.
4
Action Plan Delivery
You receive a complete spreadsheet — every page, every action, prioritised by revenue impact. Fix first, then merge, then delete. No ambiguity.
5
Implementation Support
We stay available to answer questions during implementation. For clients on retainer, we execute the fixes, write the content updates, and handle all redirects.

Questions About
Content Audits.

The questions content and marketing teams ask us most before starting an audit engagement — answered without the fluff.

How is a content audit different from an SEO audit?
An SEO audit focuses on technical health — crawl errors, site speed, Core Web Vitals, indexation. A content audit focuses on what each page actually contains — whether it matches buyer intent, whether it performs in search, and whether it's helping or hurting your other pages. Both are important, but they solve different problems. We offer both as separate services.
How many pages can you audit?
We've audited sites from 50 pages to 2,000+ pages. For smaller sites (under 200 pages), delivery is typically 3–5 business days. For larger sites, we discuss scope and delivery timeline in the initial call. Larger sites can be segmented — auditing blog content first, then service pages — if you want to prioritise.
Is it risky to delete content?
Deleting content with a proper 301 redirect is not risky — it's recommended by Google. Pages with zero traffic, zero rankings, and thin content consume crawl budget, dilute site authority, and signal low quality to Google's algorithms. Removing them and redirecting to relevant pages reliably improves performance for the pages that remain. We don't recommend deleting anything that shows any ranking potential.
How quickly will I see results after implementing audit changes?
Content fixes and deletions typically show ranking movement in 4–8 weeks — faster than publishing new content, because Google already knows these pages and just needs to recrawl and re-evaluate them. Cannibalisation fixes can sometimes produce results in 2–3 weeks when Google recrawls the affected pages. Full traffic recovery is usually visible within 3–5 months after full implementation.
Do I need to give you access to my website?
We need read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics — that's it for the audit itself. We don't need CMS access or admin credentials. For implementation (if you want us to execute the fixes), we would need appropriate CMS access at that stage. The audit is completely separate from implementation.
Can you implement the audit fixes for us?
Yes — for clients on an ongoing retainer. The audit can be a standalone deliverable (you implement, we advise), or it can be the starting point of a full content optimisation engagement where we execute every fix, write all content updates, and manage all redirects. Most clients start with a standalone audit, see the results, and then move to ongoing engagement.
